Hats are articles of armor worn on your head. Their Power rating acts as Damage Absorption, as well as increasing the damage done by a Turtle Tamer's Headbutt attack.

Hats can also be equipped on a Mad Hatrack familiar to give it new abilities. When you visit The Mad Tea Party, the number of (non-space) characters in the name of the hat you are wearing determines the buff you receive.
