Noting a bug on a page
To show that there is a bug, you place the {{bug}} template (see below) at the top of the proper page for the bug (the affected monster, item, etc.) and add a comment that describes the nature of the bug.
The format for using the template is:
{{bug|Put your comment here.}}
Things to note
- It should only remain on the page as long as the bug is ongoing.
- A bug should be confirmed (i.e., multiple people are reporting it, or it can be easily replicated by following some set of steps) before being reported.
- For spelling and grammar problems only, you are directed to an official forum thread.
Ways to report bugs
- Again, they should only be used if the bug is repeatable, or being observed by many other people.
- You can use the in-game menu option to report bugs. This is essentially KMailing Jick.
- Various members of the Development Team have indicated that they are willing to confirm and pass along bugs found by the playerbase.
