Teetotaler

This is one of the paths available to you upon ascension. In this path you may not drink any booze, or gain drunkenness through other means (such as The Typical Tavern or the drunkenness Dungeons of Doom potion). If you try to drink booze or visit the Tavern, you get an error message stating you . You may still eat food and drink non-alcoholic drinks.
Should you complete a Softcore Teetotaler ascension, you will receive a Retenez L'Herbe Pate in your next incarnation in addition to the normal rewards.
Completing a Hardcore Teetotaler ascension will net you:
- three Retenez L'Herbe Patés instead of one
- a Teetotaler tattoo:
- and the normal Hardcore rewards (a pork elf goodies sack, a sparkly class tattoo, and a stainless steel item)
Notes
- Like all paths, you can choose to abandon the Teetotaler path at any time, but you will not gain any of the special Teetotaler rewards. If you abandon Hardcore but retain the Teetotaler path without abandoning it later, you will receive only the rewards you would get for a Softcore Teetotaler ascension.
- If you try to drink booze as a Teetotaler, you get the following error:
- "You may not drink booze while you are on the Teetotaler path."
- If you try to adventure in The Typical Tavern after solving the quest, you get the following error:
- "You cannot adventure in the Tavern while you're on the Path you're on."
- You do not get drunkenness from The Obligatory Pirate's Cove.
