Some opponents in KoL are actually multiple monsters attacking together, and certain messages (such as for Pastamancer and Sauceror spells) will be different.
Cannelloni Cannon, Wave of Sauce, and Disco Dance of Doom hit up to two monsters. Stuffed Mortar Shell, Saucegeyser, Saucemageddon and Disco Dance II: Electric Boogaloo, and Harpoon! hit up to three.
If a Zombie Slayer uses Bear Hug to Insta-kill a Group Monster, all of the monsters in the group will join his zombie horde.
