Encounters of this phylum have the following interactions/attributes:

• Spirits siphoned from members of this phylum give 5/10/15 turns of the effect Fishy (-1 adventure cost underwater).
• All members of this phylum become mer-kin paste when subjected to the skill Release the Boots.
• Their extracted DNA turns you into a Human-Mer-kin Hybrid (+25 ML).
• Defeating these with a Robortender may provide a bottle of Crème de Fugu.
• Tracking 11 of these with a Red-Nosed Snapper will provide Mer-kin eyedrops.
• Fighting one with the Ghost of Crimbo Carols can provide the Crimbo Wrapping effect.
• A Vampyre can ensorcel one of these to deal Sleaze Damage every round.
• After reminiscing to fight one with the combat lover's locket, its enchantments will change to: +25% Item Drops from Monsters & +25 damage to Sleaze Spells.

Most of these monsters are found in The Sea or other underwater locations.
