Turtle Taming

Check if the mid/high level turtle requirements are still needed Some zones have 2 possible turtles, they're all part of a set, probably. Is the delay for the second turtle modified by "Helps You Tame Turtles"?

Turtle Tamers have the ability to find and tame various turtles, which in turn provide items, equipment, and familiars.

Turtle Tamers make progress in encountering a turtle taming adventure for a specific zone every time they win a combat, which can be decreased with items with the effect "Helps You Tame Turtles". The following have the "Helps You Tame Turtles" effect:

• Eau de Tortue, from turtle pheromones (30 Adventures)
• turtling rod/Flail of the Seven Aspects (Cannot be stacked with each other)
• Garter of the Turtle Poacher

Higher level turtles also require a turtling rod or Flail of the Seven Aspects equipped and possibly a Grinning Turtle or Syncopated Turtle as your active familiar.

• Finding a turtle does not consume an adventure.
• You can only encounter a turtle taming adventure once in a zone per ascension.
  • Most zones have only one turtle, but some zones, Belowdecks, The Haunted Laundry Room, and The Haunted Wine Cellar, have two. Finding the second turtle takes longer.
• Clover Adventures do not override taming, but some Wandering monsters may.
• Adventures lower than you are capable of will still occur. For example, you can still get a blue shell with a turtling rod in your hand.
