Spirits siphoned from members of this phylum give 5/10/15 turns of the effect Rampage! (+50% Weapon Damage). When stomped, the resulting beastly paste gives 10 turns of Beastly Flavor (+3 to Familiar Weight). Their extracted DNA turns you into a Human-Beast Hybrid (Weapon Damage +30). Defeating these with a Robortender may provide generic cocktailcrafting ingredients. Tracking 11 of these with a Red-Nosed Snapper will provide a patch of extra-warm fur.

Beasts can be completely destroyed by using the bobcat grenade combat item.
